ALBERT & JOSEPH TRIO

Strange name for a quartet, you will say. 'Albert & Joseph' is a veiled reference to Jean Blanchard, who composed a bourrée of that name for the " Grande Bande de cornemuses ".
The group, composed of three pipers and a percussionist, gives pride of place to the traditional repertoire, updated.
Three different trios are possible with their 12", 16", 18" and 23" musettes and their three keys, G, C and F.

But the roles are never cast in advance. In turn, each takes the part of soloist or accompanist, improviser or leader.
Presenting the traditional repertoire and new compositions, music for listening, music for dancing, the " Albert & Joseph " Trio presents the great wealth of music that exists for several bagpipes. A four-man trio that is really worthy of interest.
