In the wide open spaces, green and gold, that exist to this day on the plateaux of Corrèze, one still occasionally feels the 'soul of the heath' that was so dear to Gaston Vuiller. It feeds the imagination and offers an excuse for artistic creation, delving deep into the memory oft his land of stone, wood and water, forever inhabited by the magic spells of the olden days of Corrèze. |
Between legend and reality, between the past and the present, the show hinges on a journey through Corrèze, with its inhabitants and the landscapes they have shaped, in which tradition is not an outdated memory of gestures of the past, but a passion for the savoir-faire and the savoir-vivre of the people who lived in the highlands of the Massif Central. |
